Create A Community Donation Drive through Amazon Wish Lists
Your Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to set up an Amazon wish lists to send these items directly to New Hope
Housing and your homeless neighbors – leaving the house is unnecessary!
1. Log in to your Amazon account
2. Hover over “Accounts & Lists”
3. Select “Create a List”
4. A box will pop up with the header “Create a List”
a. Make sure you select “You” for who the list is for
b. Select “Wish List”
c. Name your list (Your name’s wish list for New Hope Housing or something
similar is great!)
d. Be sure to select “Public”
e. For the recipient name, enter “New Hope Housing”
f. Click “Create List”
5. Now that the list is created, go to “More” in the right-hand corner of your list and select
“Manage List”
a. Under “Shipping Address”, select “Create New” and enter the following:
i. Full name: New Hope Housing
ii. Street Address Line 1: C/O Your Name’s Wishlist
iii. Street Address Line 2: 8407-E Richmond Hwy
iv. City: Alexandria
v. State: VA
vi. Zip Code: 22309
vii. Phone number: 703-799-2293
b. Check “Third Party Shipping Agreement”
c. Uncheck “Don’t Spoil My Surprises” so you can keep track of what is purchased!
d. Click “Save Changes”
6. Add items to your list!
a. Go to our official wish list here:

b. Click on the name of the item that you’d like to add to your list (this will take you
to the items page on Amazon)
c. On the right-hand side, make sure “Buy New” is selected on the right-hand side
d. Find the drop down that says, “Add to List” and select the list you just created
7. You can go back to your list and update the number of the items that you’d like to
collect
8. Send it out to friends and family! Click “Send List to Others” and select copy link to
share.
9. Let us know that you created a list so we can keep track of donations as they come in.

items to our guests is critical.
