FROM THE WEST
Take the Atlantic City Expressway to Exit 2 for Ventnor, Margate, Longport on to Route 40/322. Proceed east on 40/322 in
right lane. Turn at Route 629 west to Ventnor, Margate, Longport. Go past shopping center. Get into left lane to turn left
at Dorset Avenue (still Route 629 west). Continue on Dorset Avenue over bridge. At second traffic light, turn right on to
Atlantic Avenue.
Go 3.3 miles on Atlantic Avenue, passing Lucy the Elephant on the left.The library is in the left wing of the municipal
building at 24th and Atlantic with parking on Atlantic Avenue.
OR
Take Route 563 (Margate-Northfield Blvd.) east. Continue over toll bridge (toll 500) on to Jerome Avenue (Route 563).Stay
on Jerome Avenue 9 blocks (5 traffic lights) to Ventnor Avenue. Turn right on Ventnor Avenue. At the next traffic light,
turn left on Lancaster Avenue. At the stop sign, turn right on Atlantic Avenue and continue parallel to the ocean for 1.7
miles, passing Lucy the Elephant on the left. The library is in the left wing of the municipal building at 24th and Atlantic
with parking on Atlantic Avenue.
FROM THE NORTH
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 30. Proceed east on Route 52 (Laurel Drive) and turn left to go north on Route 9.
Proceed 2 blocks to New York Avenue. Turn right on New York. Proceed 8 blocks to the traffic light. Make a left on to
Route 585 (Shore Road) and continue to Route 152 east (Maryland Avenue). Turn right on Maryland Avenue and continue
over Longport Bridge, through I traffic light, and over a second bridge. Immediately after second bridge, bear to right on
27th Avenue and at second stop sign make a right on Atlantic Avenue. The library is in the left wing of the municipal
building at 24th and Atlantic with parking on Atlantic Avenue.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 29. Proceed north on Route 9 to New York Avenue. Turn right on New York Avenue.
Proceed 8 blocks to the traffic light. Make a left on to Route 585 (Shore Road) and continue to Route 152 East (Maryland
Avenue). Turn right on Maryland Avenue and go over Longport Bridge. Continue as in From the North.
