From your cell phone, opt in to text messages by texting Y to
number 67587.
You should immediately receive a verification message (see
image below).

STEP 1: Log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal at
https://powerschool.methacton.org/public/home.html
For optimal viewing experience, it’s best to use a
desktop or laptop computer. From a mobile phone,
scroll to bottom of the navigation menu and click “Exit
to Main PS site”.
STEP 2: Path to reach the Phone Information Verification
Form: NAVIGATION MENU> FORMS> GENERAL FORMS >
PHONE INFORMATION VERIFICATION FORM.
STEP 3: Make any corrections as needed in the Phone
Information Verification Form and submit the form for each
child.
STEP 4: The next day after 10am, you will receive a text
message from SchoolMessenger to confirm that you want to
receive text messages from Methacton School District.
To confirm, you must reply Y or YES.
PLEASE NOTE: The PowerSchool form can only be submitted
once. You will receive an error message if another
parent/guardian on the account completed the form before
you.
In this case, please contact your child’s school for corrections
to phone numbers in your account.
