attended
public
school
at
Rookville

furthered

the
St.

School,
graduating
from
this
inetitutio,.

his
graduation

school
for
several

at
Albany,
Minnesota.
During
the
period
of
teaching
Peter
married
Mary B.
Westmann
at
Cold
Spring,
Kinnesota,
May
7,
1900.
Incidently
in
step
with
the
times
there
was a
great
celebration
and
many
refreshments.
_
Marriages
were
considered
a
permanent
thing
in
life,
and
on
the
wedding
day
it
was
proper
to
give
a
celebration
that
would be
well
remembered.

was
born
at
Pearl
Lake,
Stearns
County,
January
1,
1876
daughter
of
Henry
and
Margaret
{Seinert)
W
estmann.
In
1903
Peter
moved
to
Oold
Spring,
and
started
in
the
sa1oon
business
until
he
was
the
proprieter
of
two p
laces
of
business
and
one
farm.
In
April
1906
Peter
moved
to
Eden
Valley,
Minnesota
and
opened
another
saloon.
He
retained
one
in
Oold
Spring
and
one
in
Eden
Valley
continuing
in
this
eapaoity
until
1919.
In
that
year
Peter
moved
to
St.
'
Cloud,
and
since
that
time
ba.s
been
connec
ted
with
the
grocery
and
clothing
businesses.
At
present
he
is
the
proprietor
of
a
very
modern
and
successful
liquor
establishment
in
St.
Cloud.
